I believe that the "hardware" reset exception is generated by pressing the "reset button" on the hardware GUI.
However, when I do this, I notice that the SSP is updated correctly, but the PC appears to be off by 4 (and even on one occasion 6).
I have included a few lines of code below.

ORG $000000
DC.L $00E000 ;SP_INIT
DC.L $008000 ;PC_INIT

Once loaded and executed, the supervisor SP is initialized to SS=0000E0000, but the PC is initialized to 00008006.
Any insights? Thanks.

In Sim68K make sure "Enable Exceptions" in the Options menu is checked.
