For all interested in ColdFire please have a look at my new project (http://cfstudio.codeplex.com/releases/view/96279
). This is an attempt to combine assembler with a debugger and simulator in one IDE.
Currently it requires Windows Vista or higher to run and is a bit rough (it's an alpha release). Hopefully it'll get better over the time if I receive some feedback.
Even in its early form it should already be usable. It supports ISA_A, B, and C, but no MMU/FPU/EMAC. Help describes assembler, but not much else.
Programs have access to primitive monitor (written in CF assembly; code supplied), and just two peripherals (UART and timers). Simple terminal window could be used through the monitor without touching UART hardware (example shows how). And that's basically it. Thanks.
