I picked up an old arcade game (Heavy Barrel) to convert into a MAME cabinet. When I opened the case and examined it I found that the main logic board uses a 68000 computer. It doesn't work at the moment but it might be fun to try to repair the logic board at some point in the future.

A 68000 main CPU and a 6502 sound CPU as a coprocessor.

My two favourite CPUs in one box.

I discovered the safety switch was not working. After I fixed that the game turns on and the demo runs.

Please give us pictures if you plan on restoring the game using the original board!

I was watching a video from TNT Amusements (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3H4uSIQLiec
about the electronics in a pinball machine and spotted a 68000 on a sound board. Seems like overkill
for a sound board but you can't fault them for picking a good CPU.
